The least common of the four main intestinal worms, the whipworm is tiny, threadlike, and larger at one end. Unlike hookworms and roundworms, the whipworm lives in the large intestine and can cause chronic diarrhea.

Most common in puppies and kittens, roundworms are long, white, spaghetti-like worms. Once they make their way into the body, they live inside the intestines and consume the nutrients from your pet’s food before your pet can process it

Tapeworms are an intestinal parasite that dogs get by eating infected fleas or by eating wild animals infested with tapeworms or fleas. When your pet eats a flea infected with tapeworms, the tapeworm egg hatches and attaches to the dog’s intestinal lining.

Rabies is a preventable viral disease most often transmitted through the bite of a rabid animal. The rabies virus infects the brain and ultimately causes death. Rabies Vaccinations are legally required by the state of Texas for both dogs and cats by 4 months old. At the Pet Vaccination Clinic we have two options for rabies vaccinations (1 year rabies vaccine & 3 year rabies vaccine). Both come with a rabies tag and a rabies certificate.
